  If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off, the woman who helped us could barely even use a keyboard. It took her about 15 minutes just to input our w-2s. Then, she tried to put us down as NYC residents after we clearly stated at least 3 times we weren't from NYC. She never even asked us about the different types of things we could itemize, and just said that we should go standard since we only had a home for half the year. She even claimed we couldn't itemize moving expenses for a job, which is wrong and never even asked us about student loans or how much our donations amounted to. The last straw was when she had inaccurately put in one of our w-2's and said we owed almost $9,000 to the federal government. Nope, she just put the wrong line in. Oh, she also apparently doesn't know basic math, as she couldn't figure out what 10% of our income was, even with a calculator. Turns out, when we came home and did them ourselves, we saved nearly $7,000 because of the many deductions we got from itemizing, and, ya know, being able to use a keyboard. They also wanted to charge nearly $400 to do them. Bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE.

  Patti has saved us money over and over again. We've been using her services here for numerous years. She is always easy to work with and the staff is so friendly. I cannot imagine using any other service. We used to do our own using Turbo Tax. Boy! Sure glad we quit that. Highly recommend this H&R office!
